the ethnic diversity of Macedonia
Jul 14, 2009
A multi-national church planting team from Radstock network churches will be launching into Macedonia later this summer. But just what is the contect they'll be going to? According to Operation World, "Macedonia's ethnic diversity dominates its political and social existence." With a population that includes Bosnians, Serbs, Albanians, Roma, and Turks, Macedonia's "pluralism resembles segregation more than harmony. Finding a balance between teh demands of the respective ethnic minorities, especially the large Albanian population, is a challenge for the authorities. Pray for the government to sensitively seek peace and justice for all."
Pray for the Radstock network churches who are partnering together to church plant in Macedonia. Pray for the members of that team as the work amongst a country of such ethnic diversity and complexities.
